My Account Features
Creating a My Account login gives you the opportunity to pay and view your bills, setup automatic payments, view upcoming appointment information as well as manage your email, webspace and Charter Security Suite information online. Additionally, if you have Charter Phone service you are able to view your telephone call usage and details.

Create or Login to My Account
Create a My Account Login
To register, follow the steps below:
- Click here to create your online My Account.
- Enter your 4-digit Security Code and your Charter account number found in the upper right hand corner of your Charter billing statement.

- Click the Create Account button.
- Type your preferred username and password in the required fields.
- A full email address (joesxample@charter.net) cannot be used as your username. (Strong Username and Password tips). In order to protect your statement payment information, your charter.net login is only used for charter.net premium services and email access.
- Select a security question and type your preferred answer.
- Click the Register button, and you are ready to access the My Account Overview.
Login to My Account
Click here or go to www.charter.com/myaccount to log in to your online account. You will be asked to provide your username, password and service address zip code.
Forgot my Username or Password
It's quick and easy to retrieve your username online. If you forgot your username, click Forgot Username.

Enter either your home phone number or account number and your service address zip code.

Your My Account security question will be displayed. Type your answer in the space provided and click Next.
Note: If you have not established a My Account security question / answer or you cannot remember the answer to your My Account security question, please click to chat live now or contact customer service at 1-888-438-2427. You will be asked to provide your security code or your personal identification number (PIN).
Once your answer is entered, your username will be displayed. Enter your password and click Login Now.
If you forgot your Password, click Forgot Password and enter your username, select your security question, answer and your service address zip code in the spaces provided. If this information matches, you will be routed to a page so you may change your password online.

Update My Account Username or Password
You may change your username or password by selecting the My Profile tab after you log in to My Account. In order to update your password, type in your new password and retype it. Your old password is required when updating the password.

Accessing / Changing Your Security Information
To view or change your security code select the My Profile tab after you log in to My Account. For your security and protection, the security code will be displayed as ****, click View or Change Code to view your code.

You may change your security code online via My Account, in person at a local Charter office or by phone or chat with a Customer Care agent.
To change your security code online, select the My Profile tab after you log in to My Account. Click the “View or Change Code” link to continue.

Your existing security code will be displayed.
Enter a new security code in the ‘New Security Code’ and ‘Retype New Security Code’ fields and click Save Changes to create a new code.
Note: Your security code must be 4-digits in length and cannot contain any letters. It cannot be sequential (i.e. 1234) and cannot be the same 4-digits (i.e. 1111 or 0000). Be sure to choose a code that is easy to remember.
Update Security Question and Answer
The security question and answer are used for account verification when you contact Charter by phone or chat. Charter employees will use this information to verify that you are the valid account owner. We recommend that you select a security question (from the list provided) and answer that will be easy for you to remember.
You may change your security question and answer by selecting the My Profile tab after you log in to My Account.

Note: It is not necessary to update your contact email address when making changes to your security question and answer.
Update Contact Email address
The contact email address you provide is used to send notification(s) when the monthly statement is ready to be viewed, to confirm payment processing, to receive confirmation of upcoming installation/service appointments and more.
You may change your contact email address by selecting the My Profile tab after you login to My Account.
Note: It is not necessary to update your security question and answer when making changes to your contact email address.
